This exciting collaboration with Curtis on Tour showcases a unique ensemble of winds and strings, performing expansive chamber music works by Beethoven and Penderecki. The ensemble is led by two Curtis alumni: Austrian violinist Benjamin Schmid, recognized as one of today’s most versatile artists; and Gabriel Kovach, principal horn of the Phoenix Symphony.

This program will be performed in cities across the country during 2020 as part of Curtis on Tour, the Nina von Maltzahn global touring initiative of the Curtis Institute of Music. For a complete schedule, see above.
